Mohammed is a dually qualified Chartered Tax Adviser and Chartered Certified Accountant with over 15 years of general practice and taxation experience.

Mohammed gained training in accountancy and taxation whilst working at an established regional accountancy firm. He later pursued the Chartered Tax Adviser qualification, specialising in the taxation of individuals and owner-managed businesses.

In addition to general accountancy practice activities, Mohammed has specialist experience in tax planning and succession strategies for owner-managers, corporate structuring issues, remuneration planning for employees and shareholders, and mitigating income tax and corporation tax liabilities through pre year end planning.

He has a commercial approach to advising clients on a wide range of tax matters, based on close relationships with clients. Whilst working in practice, he managed a portfolio of non-audit corporate and unincorporated clients operating in a range of sectors and markets, including: healthcare; retail; wholesale; construction; information technology; engineering; architecture; real estate; charities; and professional services.

Muhammad is a member of the Association of International Accountants (AIA) with over 45 years of industry and general practice experience.

Muhammad gained training in accountancy whilst working at top accountancy firms during the mid 1970s. He later moved to industry, working at a large listed (FTSE250) company as a Group Financial Controller.

He returned to general practice after ten years in industry, bringing with him a broad range of experience in all aspects of accountancy, audit, and advisory in large groups. He has specialist knowledge in UK GAAP and IFRS reporting standards.

Muhammad has exposure to both listed and unlisted businesses operating in a range of sectors and markets, including: manufacturing; retail; wholesale; construction; engineering; architecture; real estate; and professional services.
